0. General

Ana Machado Soares Galvão, unip. (“AMSG”) is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors to this website. This Privacy Policy describes what personal data is collected, the purposes for which it is processed, the periods for which it is retained and the rights to which you are entitled.

 

By using the forms on this website, you are providing personal data, which implies your knowledge and acceptance of the conditions set out herein.

 

Mere browsing of this website does not, of itself, entail the collection of identifiable personal data. The website uses cookies in the manner described in section 9.

1. What data is collected

Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, regardless of the medium on which it is held.

  • name

  • email address

  • telephone number

  • location and type of the property to which the enquiry relates

  • project description, desired timeframe and estimated investment range

  • photographs, floor plans or other files you choose to attach
 


No data relating to political opinions, religious or philosophical beliefs, trade union or political party membership, racial or ethnic origin, health, sex life or genetic data is requested and none should be provided. Should such data be supplied on your own initiative, no liability may be attributed for its processing under this Policy.

2. Photographs and floor plans of the property

When you submit photographs, floor plans or videos of a space, those files are used solely to assess the space and prepare a response or proposal in relation to your enquiry.

Such files are not published, shared with third parties or used for promotional purposes without your express authorisation, given in writing and at the appropriate time. Any disclosure of images of a completed project is always the subject of a separate agreement.

If you wish the files submitted to be erased before the period indicated in section 5, you need only request this by email.

3. Data controller

The controller responsible for the collection and processing of personal data is AMSG, who carries on business under the trade name Ana Galvão Living & Design.

 

Taxpayer identification number 519386396, with domicile at Rua de São Paulo 100, 4.º Esq., 1200-429 Lisbon.

4. Purposes and lawful basis for processing

The data collected is processed for the following purposes:

  • responding to contact and information requests

  • assessing the space and preparing service proposals

  • scheduling and conducting consultancy sessions

  • performing contracts for the provision of services and complying with the legal obligations arising therefrom, in particular obligations of a fiscal nature
     

The lawful basis for processing is consent, given upon submission of the form, in the case of contact and information requests, and the performance of a contract or of pre-contractual steps, in the case of requests for proposals and the provision of services.

 

Failure to provide the data marked as mandatory will prevent a response to your enquiry.

5. Retention periods

The retention period varies according to the circumstances:

  • Contact enquiries that do not give rise to a proposal or contract: one year from the date of the last contact.

  • Proposals submitted but not accepted: two years from the date of the proposal.



Clients with a concluded contract: for the duration of the contract and, following its termination, for such periods as are required by law, in particular for fiscal and accounting purposes.

 

Upon expiry of these periods, the data shall be erased, unless its retention is necessary for the safeguarding of rights in pending proceedings.

6. Your rights

At any time, you may exercise the following rights in relation to your personal data:

  • the right of access to your data

  • the right to rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data

  • the right to erasure of your data

  • the right to restriction of processing

  • the right to object to processing

  • the right to data portability

  • the right to withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to such withdrawal



To exercise any of these rights, it is sufficient to send a written request to ana@anagalvao.pt.
 

You are also entitled to lodge a complaint with the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados, the competent supervisory authority in Portugal.

7. Security

Appropriate technical and organisational measures are adopted for the protection of the personal data collected, including secure communication via HTTPS protocol, password-protected access and restriction of access to data to those persons who require it.
 

In the event of a personal data breach that accidentally or unlawfully leads to the destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of or access to personal data, the competent supervisory authority shall be notified without undue delay and, where feasible, not later than 72 hours after the controller becomes aware of the breach. Where the breach is likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons, the data subject shall also be notified.

8. Disclosure to third parties

This website is hosted on the platform operated by Wix.com Ltd., which provides hosting services, storage of form submissions and attached files, and the sending of associated notifications. Wix acts in the capacity of processor, processing data on behalf of and on the instructions of the controller.

In the course of this provision of services, data may be stored or processed on servers located outside the European Economic Area, subject to the appropriate safeguards provided for under applicable legislation.

Data may also be disclosed to providers of accounting services for compliance with legal obligations and, where the execution of a project so requires and only to the extent strictly necessary, to suppliers and service providers involved in its implementation.

Data is not sold, assigned or disclosed to third parties for marketing purposes.

9. Cookies

This website uses cookies, which are small text files stored on your device, designed to ensure the proper functioning of the site, to remember preferences and to collect statistical information on its use.

You may accept, refuse or configure the use of non-essential cookies through the panel displayed upon your first visit, as well as manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. The refusal of non-essential cookies does not prevent you from browsing the website.
